fire vs darkness

the orange flames dance bright
i am mesmerized by the fire
the flame so intense
it burns with such desire

no one to control it
meddlesome becomes the flame
with it strong and mighty power
it could never become tame

an entity with an insatiable hunger
with every morsel of food it grows tall
it does not distinguish between foods
it is heartless and will devour all

the darkness hides all
theres a creature shrouded within
a creature without fear
a beast full of sin

the darkness is thick
the darkness is fierce
could shroud out the sun
through it light could never pierce

the darkness has no conscious
it is unforgiving and cold
will do anything to hurt
no matter how dangerous or bold

watch out darkness
here comes the flame
it will be a fight to the death
one thing for sure the world will never be the same
