i was there for the bad
when the when the trust went away
i wished it would come back
and always be here to stay
i was there for the bad
when what used to be a sigh
turned in to something not so happy
an uncontrollable cry
i was there for the bad
when you could open up so well
now it seems barred behind walls
it feels like a living hell
i was there for the bad
when the smile you had
turned in to a frown
all i want is to make you happy and glad
i think to myself
as i take a pause
i was not only there
i was the cause
